About DecarboNexus
A clear, credible website for DecarboNexus, an independent advisory that helps shape hydrogen, carbon capture and industrial decarbonisation projects into investable ones, designed by Omojet.
DecarboNexus is a senior independent advisory at the intersection of industry, energy and decarbonisation. It supports industrials, infrastructure developers and investors in shaping projects from early concept to bankable definition, either embedded in a project management office or as an external advisor.
Its focus areas include industrial decarbonisation strategy, integrated energy system architecture, carbon capture and biogenic carbon utilisation, hydrogen and derivative fuels such as ammonia and e-fuels, techno-economic modelling and bankable feasibility studies. The firm is led by founder and principal consultant Wietse ter Veld, a mechanical engineer and energy transition advisor.
The brief
Advisory work is bought on trust. The site had to explain a technical, systems-level service in plain terms, show the depth of the founder's experience, and give senior decision-makers enough substance (approach, experience, concept examples, training) to start a conversation.
What Omojet built for DecarboNexus
Omojet designed a calm, corporate site in deep navy and green. The hero states the positioning (independent advisory at the nexus of energy and industrial decarbonisation) with a contact button, a phone number and a card for hydrogen, carbon and low-carbon industrial systems.
Below, a What We Do section pairs the firm's description with a checklist of focus areas. A founder profile introduces Wietse ter Veld and his background, and an Approach section breaks the method into four principles: systems integration, engineering rigour, capital discipline, and clarity and alignment.
The page continues with selected experience, an expandable list of concept examples in industrial decarbonisation (from electrolysis-coupled industrial systems to carbon capture), the network and delivery model, and a Training & Workshops section for executive workshops and technical training, ending with a contact block. The site runs on WordPress with Elementor.
Typography is kept clean and sans-serif, with generous spacing, checklists and cards instead of long blocks of text, so a reader who skims on a phone between meetings still understands what DecarboNexus does, who leads it and how to get in touch.
